Quincy Police Auxiliary Lt. awarded as Citizen of The Year for West Central Illinois and Northeast Missouri at surprise ceremony.


Lt. Jarvis thought she was giving some interviews about the Auxiliary Police program, an initiative designed to enhance community safety and foster collaboration between law enforcement and local citizens.

However, instead of merely discussing the Auxiliary Police program, to her astonishment, Lt. Jarvis learned that she was being recognized with the prestigious award for her leadership and dedication to her community.
